Welcome!

The Squirrel Hill Historical Society is an organization of people committed to gathering, preserving, and celebrating the historical memories of our neighborhood, in the East End of Pittsburgh, PA.

Meetings are held regularly on topics of interest. Our meetings are free, and we meet once a month at 7:30 p.m. at the Sixth Presbyterian Church, corner of Murray and Forbes avenues.

Currently, our emphasis involves building archives about Squirrel Hill.

2008 is Pittsburgh's 250th anniversary.
With this in mind, we will be inviting speakers who will cover various aspects of the "Burgh's" history.

Our Book

We have had wonderful feedback on our book, Squirrel Hill, Pennsylvania (Images of America Series), written by our members! A limited number of copies will be available at our meetings.
