Speaker: DAVID ALBERT
About the Speaker: David Albert , a retired Air Force officer, has been a student of the Civil War for 40 years, taking master’s level courses and numerous noncredit courses and tours. He co-taught the Civil War elective at the U.S. Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College and was a Civil War docent for 12 years at the Alabama Department of Archives and History. He taught a similar course for Elderhostel and for the College for Seniors at the University of North Carolina Ashville. He is an OLLI member.
He is currently teaching classes on the Civil War for the Osher Program at Pitt and CMU.
