The Heinz History Center and The Rauh Jewish History Program & Archives are coordinating collection of articles, videos and other items relating to the Tree of Life tragedy. Following is a message from Eric Lidji, Director of the Rauh Jewish History Program & Archives.
The attack at the Tree of Life synagogue on October 27, 2018 was one of the momentous in the history of Squirrel Hill, the Jewish community and the entire city of Pittsburgh. The Rauh Jewish History Program & Archives at the Heinz History Center is actively collecting documentation of the event and its aftermath, so that future generations will remember what happened here. Digital materials can be contributed to the archive through a special online portal. These include everything from photographs or videos of vigils, to voice messages during the day of the attack. To donate physical artifacts, contact Eric Lidji at email@example.com or
